01Overview#

This privacy policy explains how Beforein ("we", "us") handles information when you use Bluecat: Cartoon Wallpaper (the "App") on Android. It describes what we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it and the choices you have.

We only collect what the App needs to work, to stay reliable and to show ads that keep it free. We do not sell your personal information. If you have questions, contact us at zelta005@gmail.com.

02Information we collect#

Information you give us

The App does not require an account. If you email us for support, we receive your email address and the content of your message.

Information collected automatically

Data What it is Why we use it
Advertising ID The resettable Android advertising ID and similar identifiers set by ad SDKs. Showing ads, limiting how often you see the same ad, and measuring ad performance.
Device information Device model, Android version, language, screen size and app version. Making the app work properly on your device and fixing compatibility problems.
Crash logs Technical details about what happened when the app crashed. Finding and fixing bugs.
App interactions Which screens you open and which features you use, without identifying you by name. Understanding which features are popular so we can improve the app.

Information that stays on your device

Settings, favourites and other preferences are stored locally on your device and are not sent to us.

03How we use information#

  • Provide the App and its features, and keep it working on your device.
  • Diagnose crashes and fix bugs.
  • Understand, in aggregate, how the App is used so we can improve it.
  • Show ads, cap how often you see them, prevent ad fraud and measure ad performance.
  • Answer your support requests.
  • Comply with the law and enforce our terms.

05Third-party services#

The App uses the following third-party services. Each one processes data under its own privacy policy.

Service Provider Purpose Data Privacy policy
Google AdMob Google LLC Advertising Advertising ID, device information, approximate location (IP address), ad interactions Read policy

Google Analytics for Firebase Google LLC Analytics App interactions, device information, app instance ID, approximate location Read policy
Firebase Crashlytics Google LLC Crash reporting Crash logs, device information, installation UUID Read policy

06Advertising#

The App is free because it shows ads. Ads may be personalised based on your advertising ID and activity. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent before showing personalised ads, using a consent message certified under the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. You can change your choice from the App's settings.

Your controls on Android:

  • Reset or delete your advertising ID: Settings → Google → Ads.
  • Opt out of personalised ads across apps: Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID (Android 12+) or Opt out of Ads Personalization (earlier versions).
  • Learn how Google uses data from apps that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

07App permissions#

The App asks only for the permissions it needs. Android lets you review or revoke them at any time in Settings → Apps → Bluecat: Cartoon Wallpaper → Permissions.

Permission Why the App needs it
Internet access Download wallpapers and show ads.
Set wallpaper Apply the wallpaper you choose to your home or lock screen.

08How we share information#

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising except as described in the Advertising section, with your consent where required. We share information only:

  • With service providers listed above, who process it on our behalf or under their own policies.
  • For legal reasons, when required by law, court order or to protect the rights, property or safety of our users or others.
  • In a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.

09Data retention#

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Support emails are kept for up to 24 months. Analytics and crash data are kept by the providers listed above according to their retention settings, typically no more than 14 months. Data stored on your device is removed when you uninstall the App.

10Data security#

Data sent between the App and our services or providers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS (TLS). We limit access to the people who need it and review our providers' security practices. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your information and will notify you and the authorities of a breach where the law requires.

11Your rights and choices#

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it.
  • Correct information that is inaccurate.
  • Delete your information.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time.
  • Data portability: receive your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising (we do not sell personal information).

California residents (CCPA/CPRA) have the right to know, delete, correct and opt out, and we will never discriminate against you for exercising these rights. EEA/UK residents may also complain to their local data protection authority.

To exercise a right, email zelta005@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days and may need to confirm your identity first.

12Deleting your data#

You can remove data stored on your device at any time by clearing the App's storage or uninstalling it. To delete data held by us or our providers, email zelta005@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my data" and the name of the App. We will delete it within 30 days, except where we must keep it by law. Step-by-step instructions are on our data deletion page.

13Children's privacy#

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us at zelta005@gmail.com and we will delete it.

14International transfers#

We and our providers may process information in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where the law requires, transfers are protected by safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

15Changes to this policy#

We may update this policy when the App or the law changes. We will post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the App or on its Google Play listing before it takes effect.
